My client, specialising in technical support for the automotive industry, is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a Senior Remote Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Function
- Act as a primary point of contact to customers and fellow technicians.
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and employees on a consistent basis.
- Triage customer jobs and calls to ensure a timely response and resolution of queries.
- Perform all necessary diagnostic scans.
- Quickly learn how to evaluate information and data and provide comprehensive interpretation of technical information.
- Drive customer service by assuring timely positive feedback.
Requirements
- Two years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an automotive technician.
- Experience working on ADAS systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in identification of faults on vehicles, module corrections, error messages, etc.
- OEM scan tool and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge.
- Experience of performing necessary diagnostic tests and have experience of working on ADAS systems, mobile OR in a workshop.
- Strong automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience.
- Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office and web application software.
Great benefits package. Salary £35k plus (OTE 7.5k Bonus per annum).
