An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recycling Manager to take ownership of a busy recycling operation in Ammanford. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end recycling process, ensuring high-quality recycled materials are produced efficiently, safely, and in line with operational demand.

Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all recycling operations from material intake through to finished recycled output
- Manage sorting, processing, granulation, pulverising, and storage activities
- Ensure recycled materials meet quality specifications for production reuse
- Plan and manage stock levels and internal supply to production teams
- Lead, develop, and motivate the recycling team to deliver operational excellence
- Drive performance improvements across throughput, recovery, downtime, and cost efficiency
- Maintain accurate stock, traceability, and recovery records
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise plant uptime
- Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience in plastics recycling, PVC processing, extrusion, or compounding operations
- Strong understanding of UPVC material handling and contamination control
- Experience with shredding, grinding, pulverising, and quality control processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead production or plant-based teams
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
