JDR Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join their team based in the Carmarthen area. We are looking for a professional and reliable driver who holds ADR Tanks and Packages and is comfortable working across both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles.

The Role

  • Up to 48 hours per week on average
  • Weekly hours may vary, with some weeks being shorter and occasional weeks potentially longer, depending on operational requirements
  • Driving HGV Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
  • Transportation and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous goods
  • Transportation of ADR-regulated goods
  • Working with ADR Tanks and Packages
  • Must be happy driving Class 2 vehicles when required, transporting hazardous packages
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
  • Ensuring loads are correctly and safely secured
  • Complying with ADR, tachograph and drivers' hours regulations
  • Delivering to customers across the local and wider area
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid ADR Licence - Tanks and Packages essential
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 1 ADR driving experience
  • Experience transporting hazardous and non-hazardous goods
  • Willingness to drive Class 2 vehicles transporting hazardous packages
  • Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
  • Maximum 6 points preferred, with no major endorsements
