JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners for temp to perm roles at a large distribution centre based in Sutton-In-Ashfield Key Responsibilities Clean warehouse floors using sweepers, scrubber machines, and manual cleaning equipment. Empty bins and dispose of waste according to site procedures. Clean staff facilities including canteens, break rooms, toilets, locker rooms, and offices. Ensure walkways, workstations, and loading areas remain clean and free from hazards. Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables. Report maintenance issues, spillages, hazards, or damaged equipment. Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines. Use cleaning chemicals safely and correctly. Support deep-cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects. Maintain accurate cleaning records where required. Essential Skills Good attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Reliable and punctual. Good communication skills. Ability to follow health and safety instructions. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a shift. Desirable Experience Previous cleaning or industrial cleaning experience. Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers. Understanding of COSHH regulations. Personal Qualities Hard-working and dependable. Positive attitude. Strong work ethic. Flexible approach to shifts and workloads. Commitment to cleanliness and safety. Working Conditions Fast-paced warehouse environment. Day, night, or rotating shifts may be required. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Regular walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
