JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join our client based in Haydock WA11. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing operator to join the team. This is a workshop-based role where you will be manufacturing and operating machinery.
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8.30am until 5pm (4pm finish on Fridays)
Contract: Permanent
The Role:
- Manufacture products to customer specifications.
- Safely operate guillotine and press machinery following appropriate training.
- Operate manual workshop equipment including lathes and pillar drill.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair products.
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, ensuring products are manufactured accurately.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues regarding engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications where required.
Experience / About You:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
