We are looking for an HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver. Nights Monday to Friday from £41,000 per year. Location: Frome, Somerset. Immediate start. Shift: starts, average 12hr shifts.

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our clients team based out of Frome, Somerset.

The role: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 Lorry to carry out collections and deliveries of pallets from hubs. This will mean you will have a double decker trailer. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Driving and operating a HGV Class 1 Lorry in line with safety standards
  • Carrying out a trunk to hub and back with a double decker trailer
  • Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

About you: As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C) licence (held for a minimum of 24 months)
  • HGV Class 1 Driving experience and experience with a double decker trailer
  • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
  • Strong focus on health and safety
