Boroughbridge

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

We are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing client in Boroughbridge as they go through a period of growth. We're looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the business; the ideal candidate will come from a food production or manufacturing environment and can successfully lead a team to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved. This is a temporary to permanent role, transferring after 12 weeks.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise a team of operatives within a medium-paced environment
  • Ensure health and safety is adhered to and team members are trained adequately
  • Identify and resolve potential hazards on site
  • Train new staff members, both agency and permanent
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and effectively

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor/Line Leader/Team Leader role in a food production or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMP and health and safety practices
  • Excellent communicator and can build rapport with the team
  • Hardworking and driven individual
  • Ability to manage the team to achieve KPIs and get results
