Hiring: Car Body Shop Technician

Job Description \nBodyshop Technician\n \n Bury - Temp to Perm \n Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (42 hour week) Rate of pay is dependent on experience, ranging from £13.17 to £15.91 per hour. Higher rates are available for candidates with relevant bodyshop or vehicle repair experience.\n \nThe Role\n \n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Technician to join a busy automotive business based in Bury . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with vehicle repair and refurbishment experience looking to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period. \n You will be responsible for restoring vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are prepared for customer collection and resale. Working within a fast-paced workshop environment, you'll carry out a range of cosmetic and body repairs while maintaining excellent quality standards. \n \nDuties Include:\n \n \n Carrying out minor bodywork repairs on cars and light vehicles \n Repairing scratches, dents, scuffs and paint damage \n Alloy wheel refurbishment and touch-up work \n Preparing panels and vehicles for painting \n Completing vehicle cosmetic repairs to a high standard \n Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales \n Supporting workshop improvements and maintaining a clean, safe working area \n Conducting quality checks before vehicles leave the workshop \n \n \nWhat We're Looking For:\n \n \n Previous experience within a bodyshop, SMART repair or vehicle refurbishment environment \n Good knowledge of automotive repair techniques \n Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work \n Full UK Driving Licence \n Ability to work in a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines \n Awareness of health and safety procedures \n \n \nWhat's In It For You?\n \n \n Temp to perm opportunity after 12 weeks \n Overtime available \n 28 days holiday \n Pension scheme \n Ongoing training and development \n Modern workshop facilities \n Friendly and supportive team environment \n Long-term career progression opportunities \n \n If you're an experienced Bodyshop Technician looking for your next opportunity in Bury, we'd love to hear from you. \n \nWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
