My client, specialising in technical support for the automotive industry, is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a Field Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Function

  • Primary focus will be to support Sales and customer relations, working closely with customers to understand their requirements from an ADAS perspective.
  • You will be required to work from a schedule of work, visiting repair shops across your dedicated area of the UK.
  • Role will include installation, as well as training the customer and conformity checks on a regular basis.
  • Performing all necessary diagnostic tests.

Requirements

  • A granular understanding of ADAS across multiple OEMs.
  • Proficient in identification of faults on vehicles, module corrections, error messages etc.
  • OEM scan tool and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge.
  • Experience of performing necessary diagnostic tests and have experience of working on ADAS systems, mobile or in a workshop.
  • Two years of car dealership experience or experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an automotive technician.
  • Strong automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office and web application software.
  • Clean driving licence.

There may be a requirement for an overnight stay, depending on workshop location at times. All expenses will be covered.

Great benefits package. Salary £40k plus (OTE 12k Bonus per annum).
