Design Engineer Salary: £35,000-45,000 per annum

About the Design Engineer Role:

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our client, a manufacturer based in Bolton. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and specifying products that meet the needs of their wide range of customers. You will work closely and provide key information to the production team; technical and costing support to the sales team as well as new product development. Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks

• Support the sales team with technical & design engineering

• Technical support with quoting of manufactured products

• New product development

What We’re Looking For in a Design Engineer:

Essential:

• Competence in Solid Works – 3D models & drawings

• 5 years’ experience in a similar technical based role

Desirable:

• 5S experience

• Lean Manufacturing & Design experience

• ISO 9001 experience
