Buying Assistant - Salford Quays Full time and permanent £26,000 per annum Hybrid available after training is completed We are recruiting for a Buying Assistant on behalf of a global brand in the Salford Quays area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and develop a career within Buying and Procurement. Previous experience in Buying is preferred but not essential for this role! You'll be based on site for the first 2 weeks, after that you'll move to hybrid and work 2 days from home. What you'll be doing - Manage product enquiries from internal and external customers Using different sources to research various products and availability Liaise with buyers to obtain pricing and availability Own all enquiries from start to finish Manage and maintain internal spreadsheets and processes What we're looking for - Previous experience within buying/procurement is advantageous not but essential to the role Strong computer literacy skills, including Excel Hardworking individual who is keen to learner and develop People person with strong communication skills Strong organisational and administration skills Hours of work - Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm Interviews are taking place now for this role, so apply now and we'll be in touch!
