Our client is a small well-known local legal practice based on the outskirts of Preston Town Centre. They are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to take ownership of clients looking to use their services. This is working as part of a small team.
The Role:
- Managing a portfolio of conveyancing matters independently from start to finish
- Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently
- Reviewing and preparing legal documentation accurately and within required timescales
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties throughout the transaction
- Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
- Identifying and resolving issues that may delay completion
- Managing workloads effectively while working towards agreed targets and completion deadlines
- Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
- Ensuring all matters are progressed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Taking ownership and accountability for delivering successful outcomes on each file
Experience / Skills Required:
- Proven track record of managing and completing conveyancing matters from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and legislation
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing legal documentation
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
- A minimum of 6 years of experience within a conveyancing role is required for this role
The role is working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience; additional bonus to be discussed based on performance.
