JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaning Supervisors for a large distribution centre based in Kettering, NN15
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of cleaning operatives. Allocate daily duties and monitor completion of cleaning schedules. Carry out quality inspections and audits of warehouse, offices, welfare facilities, and external areas. Ensure cleaning equipment and machinery are operated safely and maintained correctly. Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and PPE. Deliver induction training and ongoing coaching to cleaning staff. Manage attendance, timekeeping, and performance of team members. Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations, health and safety policies, and site procedures. Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses. Liaise with Amazon management and other site stakeholders regarding cleaning standards and service delivery. Complete administrative duties, including timesheets, reports, and audit records.
Essential Requirements
Previous supervisory experience within cleaning, industrial cleaning, warehousing, or facilities management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work. Competent in using Microsoft Office applications. Flexible approach to hours and shifts.
We have 2 shift patterns available: 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm Days - £14.50 per hour & 4 on 4 off 7pm-7am Nights - £15 per hour Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks JDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
