We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our client’s team on a permanent night shift. This role will involve working on a variety of fabrication projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship and accuracy at all times.
Duties will include:
- welding mild steel ranging from 3mm to 25mm
- working from engineering drawings
- carrying out fabrication work (non‑jig based)
- completing quality checks
- maintaining documentation
- ensuring all work meets required specifications
You will be expected to uphold excellent standards of attendance and timekeeping, while contributing to a productive and efficient working environment. Please note, you will be required to complete an initial 2‑week training period on day shifts before transitioning onto nights.
Location: Sandbach, CW11
Salary: £16.50 to £18.50, to be discussed at interview
Hours of Work: Monday–Thursday 7:30pm–6:30am
Contract Type: Temporary to permanent
Experience / Skills Required:
- Previous fabrication experience (non‑jig work) is essential
- Ability to weld mild steel from 3mm to 25mm
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to carry out quality checks and maintain accurate documentation
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Able to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship
- A minimum of 3 years of welding and/or fabrication experience is required for this role
