What does the role look like:
- Develop, fabricate, and assemble sheet-metal components using a range of fabrication tools and machinery, including rollers, press brakes, and guillotines.
- Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless-steel sheet, mesh, and other metals.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in all manufactured components.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to the wider team environment.
- Complete all required internal and external training to maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer standards.
- Ensure all products meet internal quality standards as well as customer-specific requirements.
- Undertake physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and handling heavier materials.
What we're looking for:
- Trained to Level 3 or equivalent (City & Guilds) in sheet-metal fabrication and welding.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication role.
- Ability to work well within a team and a track record of reliability and delivering high-quality work.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to prioritise one's own workload.
