Production Operatives Needed in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17
Working hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7.00am - 3.30pm
- Friday: 7.00am - 2.30pm
JDR Recruitment (Mansfield) are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to recruit experienced Production Operatives to join their team. These roles are temporary-to-permanent opportunities, offering a permanent contract after successful completion of training (based on performance, attendance, and conduct).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements
- Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols
- Monitoring production processes and recording data
- Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Running the line/covering supervisor as and when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment - some heavy lifting will be required of up to 25kg
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
