Our client operates a modern recycling and recovery facility, processing a wide range of materials including plastics, wood, metals and cardboard through a combination of automated and manual systems.

£12.71 per hour

Weekly pay (every Friday)

PAYE – employed directly with full benefits

Consistent Monday to Friday night shifts

Working Hours

Night Shift: 5:00pm – 4:30am (Monday to Friday)

The Role

  • Working as part of a busy recycling operation, your duties will include:
  • Sorting recyclable materials on a processing line (plastics, cardboard, metals, wood etc.)
  • Working within a waste recycling and recovery facility
  • Operating alongside machinery such as conveyors and sorting equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across site
  • Assisting with loading and unloading materials
  • Following strict health and safety procedures at all times
  • Working in an outdoor and industrial environment

This role involves working in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the recovery of reusable materials and helping to minimise landfill waste.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a recycling or waste environment
  • Able to work on your feet for long periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong team player with a good work ethic
  • Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing or labouring is beneficial but not essential
