JDR Recruitment are recruiting for VNA Drivers in Knowsley, L34.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate VNA forklift trucks to load, unload, and store goods in high racking systems
- Pick stock accurately using VNA equipment and/or RF scanners
- Replenish stock levels in picking locations
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Ensure all goods are handled safely to prevent damage
- Maintain clean and organised working areas
- Follow all health and safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control
- Work to tight deadlines and achieve productivity targets
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid and in‑date VNA forklift licence/certification (RTITB or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating VNA trucks in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners (desirable)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at height and in narrow aisles
- Capable of lifting and moving goods where required
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
Working Hours
7‑7 4 on 4 off consisting of 2 nights and 2 days so candidates must be flexible.
Health & Safety
- Adhere strictly to all site safety rules and procedures
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times
Pay Rate
£13.82 per hour. Ongoing work, leading to permanent for the right candidates.
