We’re looking for a proactive and hands‑on Facilities Team Leader, based at our client in Yatton to oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance and smooth running of our site. This role combines leadership with practical skills, requiring someone who can manage a small team while also getting involved in maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and supporting electrical work. It has a large car park and is also accessible by public transport from both Weston-super-Mare and Bristol.
Location: Yatton
Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £13.12 per hour at first, rising after probation period and taking on the Supervisor responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and support the facilities team to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Plan and prioritise maintenance schedules, both reactive and preventive
- Carry out hands‑on maintenance tasks, including:
- Basic plumbing repairs (e.g. leaks, blockages, fixture replacements)
- General building maintenance (carpentry, painting, minor repairs)
- Support and oversee minor electrical works (e.g. replacing fittings, fault identification), ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
