JDR are working with a leading manufacturing business based in County Tyrone who are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a busy production environment, working on high-quality engineered products.
Role
You will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding and fabrication duties, working from technical drawings to produce components to a high standard. The role will primarily focus on welding, with some involvement in broader fabrication tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG welding to a high standard
- Ensure all work meets quality expectations and production targets
- Support fabrication and general workshop duties where needed
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Assist in identifying and resolving welding or production issues
- Maintain tools, equipment and a safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
