Class 2 Driver in Cullompton

Salary: GBP17 - GBP17 per hour

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver on a temp ongoing basis to join our thriving client in Cullompton

Pay £17.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

Immediate start

Temp ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

Monday to Friday 48 hours per week

JDR is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join a highly reputable client of ours in the Cullompton area

The role:

As a Class 2 Driver your duties will be as followed:

• Carry out vehicle checks each morning before use
• Deliver goods to customers
• Pick products from vehicle from ambient, freezer or chiller compartments and ensure these are accurate before giving to the customer
• You will be responsible for collection of payment via chip & pin or cheque where applicable
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, re-fuelled and checked before parking up in designated spot in yard after shift
• Recording any returns and placing these in warehouse
• All empty pallets are to be taken from vehicle and placed in the warehouse within the designated area and all plastic and cardboard to be recycled in the bailer.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all time
• Complete any other relevant duties given to you by management

About you:

As a Class 2 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

• Valid Class 2 licence as well as previous multi drop experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid DQC/CPC card
• Be a team player
• Excellent knowledge on driver regulations
