We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative who will also do some occasional driving, for our client based in Avonmouth, Bristol. Immediate start. Driving licence required (maximum of 3 points).
JDR is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with occasional driving responsibilities, to work in a large warehouse and distribution site in Avonmouth. We want customer focus as your main drive and a passion to go the extra distance to make our client stand tall above their competitors. You will need to be flexible to cover other departments when required. The role will be mainly warehouse operations but also helping out with driving duties covering holidays and during busy times.
Responsibilities:- Complete warehouse duties
- Driving duties covering holidays and during busy times
- Picking and packing customer orders for collection and dispatch
- Checking stock and performing stock replenishment
- Help loading and unloading of vehicles
- Manual handling: lift items up to 25kg
- Occasional customer-facing interactions – preferably customer conscious, confident and reliable
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Full driving licence with maximum of 3 points
- 3 years driving experience preferred
- Enthusiasm to learn about the products our client sells and retain information
- Mandatory working hours: Mon–Fri 8pm to 5pm
- 28 days holiday
