JDR Recruitment is hiring MIG Welder / Fabricators in Bolton.
Salary: GBP 15 per hour.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy duty MIG Welding on structural steel and thick gauge material.
- Fabricate components from technical drawings and engineering plans.
- Cut, shape and assemble metal sections using appropriate tools and machinery.
- Operate grinders, saws, drills and cutting torches.
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in heavy duty MIG welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience working with structural steel and thick materials.
- Competent in the use of fabrication tools.
- Experience with vertical weld, multi‑run or truck industry is a plus.
