This impressive Gastro Pub with rooms is looking for a Head Chef to join the business and run the food operation. With a top reputation for service and quality fresh food, this property is well established, mainly due to a very stable brigade and the outgoing Chef being there for several years.
Serving from 60-70 covers at lunch with 100+ at weekends, this kitchen serves fresh, upmarket pub food complemented with seasonal favourites. With very few functions, this is very much a restaurant-focused role.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the management and development of a brigade of 6 chefs plus kitchen porters. With full autonomy on menus, you will be required to keep the 5 EHO score and maintain a target food gross profit.
For this Head Chef role, you must have worked to at least Sous or Head Chef in a busy hotel, restaurant or pub, with good experience of large volume services. Along with a competitive salary, there is an annual pay review and an opportunity to earn service charge too.
