This beautiful four-star beach front hotel is currently looking for an experienced Chef to join the business and re-structure the kitchen department. With over 40 bedrooms, this property has a busy restaurant operation with excellent al fresco options in the summer. Popular with weddings, they can cater for up to 130 covers but the usual size is 50/60.
As Head Chef, you will be required to manage and develop a brigade of eight chefs plus kitchen porters, complying with all health and safety requirements and achieving food gross profit and labour targets. Your immediate target is to introduce some consistency throughout the kitchen, ensuring professional standards are applied and maintained at all times.
You must have been a Head Chef previously with broad experience of restaurant and event/banqueting work. A modern approach to food and comfort with fresh brasserie/bistro style food is essential. Along with an excellent package, there would also be relocation assistance for anyone relocating.
