This independently owned Pub is currently looking for a Chef to join the team and take care of everything culinary.
You will get:
- GP based bonus every 6 weeks
- Equal share of tips
- Every 3rd weekend off
- Mixture of splits and straight shifts
- 35 - 50 hours weeks depending on business
With an 85% fresh food menu changing seasonally, this property can do anything from 25 covers on a quiet day to up to 400 covers on a busy day (Father's Day).
As Head Chef, you will be working with a team of four in a decent sized kitchen, producing food seven days a week. You will be responsible for contributing towards specials and menu creation, achieving a target food gross profit of 72%, and maintaining the EHO score of five.
This is very much a hands-on role working closely with a supportive manager and owner. For this Head Chef role, you must have worked in a busy restaurant/pub environment to at least Sous Chef level. You must have a good working knowledge of food costings and kitchen management.
This is a great time to be joining the pub as the owner is looking at new properties to grow the business further.
