Job Overview

Salary: Β£29,500 per annum (+OTE)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Any 5 days out of 7 (Monday-Sunday)

Responsibilities

  • Coach, support and motivate team members to achieve strong performance
  • Provide regular feedback and recognise positive contribution
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging working environment
  • Full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence
  • Opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks
  • Oversee customer enquiries, call handling, up selling and administration
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained
  • Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service
  • Support achievement of store targets, sales growth and cost control
  • Monitor local competitors and market activity
  • Take ownership of key performance indicators and financial contribution

Key Skills / Experience

  • Experience supervising, leading or managing at least one team member
  • Experience acting as the senior person on shift (e.g. supervisor, team leader, key holder or duty manager)
  • Confidence making day-to-day operational decisions independently
  • Background in a customer-facing environment such as retail, hospitality, leisure, call centres or facilities management
  • Strong communication and people-management skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
