JDR is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to work in a large manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset.
The Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working within a production environment, and your duties will be as follows:
- Be proactive in machinery maintenance
- Ensuring staff are correctly trained
- You will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the maintenance function ensuring minimum downtime of plant and equipment
- Maintain machinery to ensure they meet safety standards
- Has an awareness of maintenance spend against budget
About You
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will have the following skills and experience:
- Looking for long term, permanent work
- Have a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- You will be able to commit to the hours advertised
- Knowledge in UK H&S Legislation with regard to plant, machinery and equipment
