Our client, an expanding thriving property design, refurbishment and maintenance business, is looking for a proactive, disciplined, motivated and results-oriented candidate to take the lead for this Commercial Finance Accountant role, working closely with the wider management team and operational staff. You ideally will have worked in property maintenance, building management or facilities management. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate management accounts, supporting key business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Management team and Operations team to manage the Commercials of the work from costing of the work through to completion.
  • Close liaison with external clients and all departments internally.
  • Tracking, reporting and management of all costings.
  • Sales and overhead forecasting.
  • Day to day running of the company finances - day to day accounts.
  • Payment processing.
  • Credit management, invoicing, cash collection.
  • Balancing, management of banking.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Budget management.

This role is working from the office location daily.

What The Company Offer

  • Salary - c£55 - 60k (negotiable on experience/background).
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Holiday allowance: 25 days plus bank holiday.
