Overview Barnsley – office based. We are recruiting for a Compliance Admin Coordinator for a local authority in their Barnsley office. This is an ongoing temporary role until mid 2026 with potential to extend after this period depending on business needs. This role is suitable for someone with previous administration experience who can support the local authority.
Salary: £13.69 per hour – paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Support the function of the Repairs, Maintenance & Building Safety Section to meet compliance requirements
- Assist in resolving queries and enquiries from tenants, clients, customers and stakeholders
- Ensure a customer-focused approach is adopted in all aspects of the service
- Produce reports for Compliance Officers on installation, repairs and maintenance, and job costs
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or compliance role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- Awareness of financial regulations
- Familiarity with computer packages and standard software
