Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at JDR Fencing Ltd. You should have a strong background in sales of fencing & decking products. This is a customer focussed position at a busy trade counter.
\nResponsibilities
\nSales/Purchasing
\nAll aspects of Counter Sales. Creating invoices, creating orders and/or quotes, dealing with customer requests/questions etc.
\nMain Responsibility for ordering ironmongery products (from suppliers list provided by General Manager) to always keep a healthy stock of materials.
\nDeliveries
\nIssue Delivery Notes to Yard for Orders to be made up prior to delivery.
\nOrganise daily delivery schedule for drivers for private & contract deliveries, Consult with Yard Manager & Contract Manager regarding deliveries.
\nDeal with Route Planning & Load Management.
\nPosting of delivery notes & updating of stock records.
\nYard
\nConsult with Yard Manager regarding orders.
\nConsult with General Manager regarding stock of Retail timber (seasonal).
\nManage all duties required to keep a well-stocked & tidy yard.
\nWhat we are looking for:
\nPrevious experience in a timber yard or sales environment.
\nGood knowledge of fencing timber & decking materials.
\nCustomer focussed, confident communicator.
\nA team player who can also work independently and manage their own workload.
\nGood IT skills, comfortable using computer system to process orders etc.
\nHours
\nMon - Thu 7.30-4.30 & Fri 7.30-3.30
