As the JDR Cable Systems Services team in Newcastle continues to expand following the successful award of major contracts, we’re looking for experienced professionals to join us on exciting, high-profile projects. We are currently recruiting for Fibre Optic Technicians on a 12‑Month Fixed Term basis to support our growing operations team.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in fibre optic termination and testing
  • Previous offshore project experience
  • A good understanding of offshore cable operations
  • Valid offshore certification (GWO, Offshore Medical incl. Chester Step)
  • A valid passport
  • A proactive approach to safety and teamwork in offshore environments
