We are actively looking to appoint an 18T HGV Driver, preferably with HIAB experience to join our successful team in Colchester. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a team this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Your job:

  • Efficient & safe operation of the vehicle
  • Complete & on time delivery of orders to JDP customers
  • Comply with all vehicle and drivers' legislation
  • Represent JDP at point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

Candidate Profile:

  • Eager and supportive individual willing to learn all aspects of our operations
  • Possession of a Class C License and HIAB
  • Some Driver CPC training completed
  • Digital driving license (tachograph card)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in a workplace
  • Comprehensive understanding of driver procedures, including driving hours rules & regulations
  • Ability to plan the most efficient routes for the daily delivery schedule
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities

Qualifications:

  • Must hold Class C licence.
  • HIAB - Desirable but not essential. Training will be discussed and provided for the right candidate.
  • Having FLT experience would be beneficial.
