This is an entry‑level opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in the detail and wants to build a career in office operations, HR or the wider creative industry.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re proactive, trustworthy and exceptionally well‑organised. You thrive on bringing calm and consistency to busy days and enjoy helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. You’re confident in your communication, respectful in your tone, and take pride in showing up professionally; whether you’re greeting guests or filing key documents. You ask questions early, take responsibility for your time and tasks, and follow through reliably.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office operations: You support the smooth daily running of the London studio – ensuring supplies, cleanliness, facilities and front‑of‑house all meet a high standard. You manage tasks with care and structure, from greeting guests and booking couriers to keeping shared spaces tidy and safe. You play a key part in how it feels to work at JDO.
- HR admin & onboarding: You support our global HR function by helping post jobs, schedule interviews and welcome new joiners. You track probation check‑ins, coordinate simple training tasks and keep our documents and HR system up to date. You help make the JDO experience organised, warm and human.
- Team coordination: You liaise with providers, plan perks and support studio‑wide events across teams. You build positive working relationships, follow clear processes and communicate in a professional, respectful and timely way, whether in person, via email or on behalf of others.
- Leadership & mentoring: You model consistency, positivity and accountability, helping set the tone for studio energy and cross‑team collaboration. You ask for support early, offer help where you can, and contribute to a healthy, helpful workplace. As you grow, you’ll support others by passing on clarity and knowledge.
- Commercial acumen: You follow purchasing processes accurately and on time, keeping records organised and supporting financial visibility. You understand how small details contribute to overall efficiency and cost awareness.
EXPERIENCE
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage several tasks at once
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- A dependable, proactive and helpful approach
- Good attention to detail and confidence using basic digital tools
- Sound judgement and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Some experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, retail or another people‑facing environment would be useful, but is not essential

This role is based in our London studio and would be 5 days per week in the office, 9am to 6pm.
