We're looking for a Client Executive who has around a year's experience in client services within a creative agency. You’ll support the team in managing day‑to‑day tasks such as proposal and project planning and you’ll keep projects running smoothly by tracking timelines, updating status reports, and generating clear, timely contact reports. You’ll be responsible for setting up client meetings, briefings and reviews, managing diaries and attendance. You’ll develop the solid foundations of client service – how to build trust, stay commercial and create space for great work. You’ll gain confidence communicating with both clients and colleagues, learning how to anticipate needs, spot opportunities and deliver with purpose. You’ll see how the smallest task, done well, can unlock flow for the whole team. And as you learn by doing, you’ll grow into the kind of creative partner clients rely on.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re an energised and dependable presence, who will help manage JDO’s key client accounts with care and consistency. You bring structure, clarity and momentum to the team; always focused on the detail, always thinking ahead. You’re curious, considered and proactive, and you show up each day to support those around you and make the work better.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client partnership: Support the team in managing day‑to‑day tasks that help us deliver with consistency and care. You’ll keep information flowing, capture the details that matter, and ensure clarity across teams. By doing so, you’ll help build the kind of partnership where trust grows, inside and out.
- Business growth: Support proposal and project planning with insight and organisation. Share inspiring work and industry thinking to help fuel bold ideas. You’ll help tell the story of our impact – from case studies to internal wins – making sure our value is seen, felt, and shared.
- Client relationship management: Build positive, professional relationships with clients through clear communication and thoughtful follow‑up. Every email, every update, every note is a moment to show care, clarity and confidence, helping shape how clients experience JDO.
- Project management & operational excellence: Keep projects running smoothly by tracking timelines, updating status reports, and generating clear, timely contact reports. You’re not just ticking boxes – you’re creating the calm, structured environment that lets great work thrive.
- Commercial acumen: Help ensure budgets, estimates, and invoices are accurate and timely. Support project tracking with a commercial lens, learning how every number supports creative freedom. You’ll start to connect the dots between value, time and trust.
- Team leadership & mentoring: Even without a direct leadership role, your reliability, enthusiasm and generosity shape the team dynamic. By staying on it, lifting others and showing pride in your work, you create a culture where people feel safe to do their best.
