Role Overview.

The UK Head of Sales will be responsible for leading the UK sales function, overseeing all major retail relationships, and delivering against ambitious sales growth targets. This is a senior, strategic role that requires a proven leader with deep experience in sales management, particularly within consumer electronics or related sectors. The successful candidate will report directly to the senior management team and play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of our UK business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the UK sales organisation, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets through effective planning, execution, and performance management.
  • Oversee and strengthen relationships with major UK retail partners, acting as a senior point of contact for key accounts.
  • Develop and implement robust sales strategies to maximise revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform commercial decisions and identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and sales metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the senior management team.
  • Oversee the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements with key retail partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with trade marketing, logistics, and merchandising teams to support sales initiatives and ensure operational excellence.
  • Represent JDM Products Ltd at senior-level meetings, industry events, and with external stakeholders as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a senior sales management or leadership role, preferably within consumer electronics, FMCG, or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and managing high-value retail accounts.
  • Outstanding leadership and people management skills, with experience leading experienced and diverse sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with major UK retailers is highly desirable.
