You will carry out raw material intake checks, quality inspections, positive release, validations and routine audits (GMP, hygiene, fabrication, temperature and CCP compliance).

This role is well‑suited to someone with previous QA or technical experience looking to build a stable, long‑term career within food manufacturing.

Working on‑site in our factory, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet all specifications, legal requirements and customer expectations.

This is a site‑based role at our Bicker facility, reporting to the QA Supervisor, working full‑time on a Monday–Thursday shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with company systems and procedures at all times.

  • Conduct random and scheduled quality checks on the production line against customer specifications.
  • Perform temperature checks on products and storage areas, following correct protocols.
  • Carry out shelf‑life assessments in line with established procedures.
  • Identify and isolate sub‑standard products, including raw materials, packaging and work‑in‑progress.
  • Conduct hygiene audits as directed, using correct procedures and documentation, reporting any non‑compliance promptly.

About You

  • Professional, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work Monday–Thursday night shifts.
  • Resilient to working in varying temperature conditions.
  • Detail‑focused with strong organisational skills.
  • Positive in attitude, with a willingness to support and train others.

  • Food Safety level 3.
  • Previous QA, QC or technical experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Auditing and investigative skills.
  • Ability to train colleagues and carry out competency assessments.
  • Literate and numerate, able to write reports and complete documentation accurately.
  • Allergen Management training (preferred).
  • Microbiology/Listeria Management training (Preferred).

What We Offer

  • 20 days annual leave.
  • Company Treat Days (both sweet and savoury).
  • A day off to celebrate your birthday, your way.
  • Free tea, coffee and hot drinks all year round.
  • Company‑paid healthcare, optical and dental scheme.
  • Cycle‑to‑work scheme.

We offer a modern working environment, opportunities for growth and development, and the chance to make a real impact in a business that is constantly evolving.
