JDL Contractors Ltd is a growing contractor delivering refurbishment, maintenance, and reactive repair works across a range of sectors, including care homes, social housing, and commercial properties. Due to continued growth and workload, we are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Trader to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works across care homes, residential properties, and commercial sites.
  • Basic carpentry works including door repairs, skirting, architraves, kitchen adjustments, and general joinery.
  • Basic plumbing repairs including tap replacements, toilet repairs, waste pipe repairs, and sanitaryware maintenance.
  • Wall tiling repairs and replacement works.
  • Patch plastering, filling, decorating preparation, and general making-good works.
  • Completing reactive maintenance tasks and planned refurbishment works.
  • Identifying and reporting any additional maintenance issues found on site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative, or Property Maintenance Technician.
  • Competent in a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and general repairs.
  • Experience working in occupied buildings such as care homes, residential properties, schools, healthcare settings, or commercial premises.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.

We offer a competitive salary depending on experience, consistent long-term work across a variety of projects, and the opportunity to develop and grow within a well-established contractor. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided (subject to role requirements).
