JD Gyms is seeking a Part‑Time Fitness Coach who will work 12 hours per week in 3 x 4‑hour shifts and will also run a self‑employed personal training business from the gym.
Role Overview
Your purpose is to engage members and deliver a world‑class member experience on every visit, upholding high standards of cleanliness, member interaction, inductions, group exercise classes and safety.
Responsibilities
- Engage with members on the gym floor to ensure a positive experience.
- Deliver welcoming and engaging tours to prospective members in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
- Lead group exercise classes that are engaging and of high quality.
- Conduct member inductions and provide information for new members.
- Support prospective members with enrollment as required.
- Carry out club standards checks, record results accurately and follow JD Gyms record‑keeping procedures.
- Provide ad hoc support to members as required or observed.
- Maintain cleanliness standards set by the Gym Management and Operations team.
- Ensure brand standards, safety and health and safety action points are upheld at all times.
- Monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback.
- Operate in a safe and legal manner at all times, complying with JD Gyms policies.
- Consider environmental and waste‑management issues, demonstrating strong management.
- Analyze and present key data to support new ideas, initiatives and proposed developments.
