This role offers an opportunity to develop your commercial skills through diverse cross-functional interactions, including taking responsibility for your own P&L. Reporting to the National Account Controller, the National Account Executive collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders, such as the JDE account and sales teams, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Demand Planning, and retailer buying teams, to design and execute growth strategies. The role is hybrid, based in Maidenhead (3 days a week), with travel to customer sites and internal events as needed.

You will work closely with the National Account Manager, National Account Controller, and internal planning teams to plan and execute key activities within your account team, including:

  • Promotional planning—from setup and forecasting to tracking and evaluation to inform future strategies
  • Performance tracking—analyzing brand performance based on sales, market share, and competitor data
  • System setup—ensuring products are correctly configured in all relevant systems with accurate pricing and details
  • Forecasting—accurately predicting demand to ensure proper stock levels
  • Invoicing and accrual tracking—linking customer agreements and promotional performance to manage funds and payments
  • Managing P&L and external relationships with smaller customers to build confidence and understand internal systems
  • Customer shopper activation—maximizing impact and understanding what strategies work best
  • Growth projects—such as online optimization, convenience execution, and field sales activation
  • Supporting the wider National Account team with new line setup, weekly sales calls, price management, and cross-functional collaboration for seamless processes
