We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our UK Marketing team and lead growth for our iconic instant coffee brands - Kenco, L’OR, and Douwe Egberts. This role is perfect for someone passionate, analytical, creative, and entrepreneurial. You’ll shape the future of the category through breakthrough innovation, strategic thinking, and impactful execution, bringing consumer insights to life on the shelves of the UK’s biggest retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the future vision for the portfolio
  • Define long-term brand positioning and portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with consumer trends and business objectives.
  • Lead the future innovation strategy
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, develop pipeline plans, and champion disruptive ideas that drive category growth.
  • Accelerate recruitment of the next generation of coffee drinkers
  • Create targeted initiatives and campaigns to attract younger consumers and new segments into the category.
  • Deliver breakthrough renovation and innovation plans
  • Manage projects from concept to launch, including product development, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
  • Respond to consumer, category, and customer performance & trends
  • Monitor market data translate insights into actionable strategies and adapt plans to changing dynamics.
  • Drive brand communication and activation
  • Collaborate with the equity and communication team to develop compelling campaigns across digital, in-store, and experiential channels.
  • Collaboration and partnership across functions and with global teams
  • Work closely with Sales, Category, Supply Chain, and Global Marketing to ensure seamless delivery and alignment.
  • Manage financial performance and business cases
  • Build robust business cases for innovation, track P&L impact, and ensure projects deliver against agreed KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in Marketing, ideally within FMCG, with a strong understanding of brand building and portfolio management.
  • Hands-on exposure to digital marketing and shopper activation, including development and execution of campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proven project management capabilities, from planning through to delivery, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-first mindset to work effectively across functions and with global teams.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude - comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives forward.
  • A “can-do” spirit with agility to adapt in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
