About the Company
Our client is a well funded startup designing and manufacturing their own connected devices and rebuilding a traditional category from the ground up. They already have a live product in market, real revenue, and a strong balance sheet. This is not a "figure it out with no budget" situation. The UK team is small, sharp, and growing fast. Everyone thinks deeply, moves quickly, and uses technology as a genuine competitive advantage. The culture is product led and brand obsessed about as far from old school corporate as you can get.
The Role
This is a generalist marketing manager role with a heavy bias for action. You'll be one of the first dedicated marketing hires in the UK, working directly alongside the UK lead and reporting into the founding team. There is no exhaustive job spec. The brief is intentionally open. If that excites you, read on. If your first instinct is to ask for one, this probably isn't the right fit.
You’ll own and contribute across:
- Organic social and content creation
- SEO strategy and AI-assisted content workflows
- Influencer and creator partnerships
- Pop-up retail and experiential activations
- Out-of-home and ambient campaigns
- Lifecycle, CRM and referral programmes
- Affiliate and partnership marketing
- PR and brand collaborations
About You
- 2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally in a consumer brand, DTC, or startup environment
- Comfortable working with physical products, you understand that marketing something you can hold is different from marketing software
- Digitally native, brand-aware, and a strong writer
- High energy, low ego, you make things happen rather than waiting to be told what to do
- AI-fluent or actively curious about using AI tools in your day-to-day
- Based in or able to commute to London
This Role Is NOT Right For You If...
- You need a detailed brief before you can get started
- You're primarily a paid media or performance marketing specialist
- You're preferently a someone who wants clearly defined swim lanes and structured team environments
- You're not genuinely excited by the product category
What's On Offer
- A genuine opportunity to help build a marketing function from near-scratch
- A well-funded, ambitious business with real product-market momentum
- A team of exceptionally smart people who care deeply about what they're building
