Chief Technology and Product Officer – Marketplace / Growth / Global – Competitive Package
JD&Co. are partnered with a global subscription-based digital platform business to hire an entrepreneurial and high-energy Chief Technology & Product Officer. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will drive innovation and own and execute the technology roadmap ensuring that the platform continues to push boundaries and delivers a frictionless digital experience to their customers. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you’ll also lead, motivate and inspire a growing tech team.

About the Role
- Technology & Product Leadership – Act as the face of technology & product, driving a strategic roadmap aligned with the company’s global vision for growth.
- Strategic Collaboration – Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership, providing thought leadership and a holistic approach to technology and product development.
- Customer Experience Visionary – Shape the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging digital experience.
- Technology & Architecture Ownership – Oversee the core platform, app, and system architecture, making key decisions on tools, platforms, and integrations while considering feasibility and cost. This is a hands-on technical leadership role.
- AI & Innovation – Identify and leverage AI advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Hands-On & Strategic Execution – Balance short-term execution (coding, debugging, infrastructure management) with long-term growth planning.
- Team Leadership & Development – Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing tech team, establishing strong onboarding, training, and career development processes.
- Compliance & Market Awareness – Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while staying ahead of technology trends and evolving consumer behaviors globally.
About You
Overall, this role needs a bright, experienced technology leader with a successful track record in fast-paced growing global technology businesses, ideally marketplace, with proven experience in building and scaling apps/platforms and leveraging technology to drive seamless user experiences in digital commerce.
With a high degree of emotional intelligence and a natural ability to communicate clearly and thoughtfully, you are able to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics to foster collaboration and inspire.
Specifically you’ll need:
- Proven Technology Leadership – Experience ideally in marketplace or digital commerce, with a track record of scaling platforms and apps.
- Strategic & Hands-On Expertise – Strong technical strategy, infrastructure, and architecture knowledge, with the ability to ensure seamless product delivery.
