Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supporting the existing network of distributors across South East Asia, ensuring alignment with internal Business Unit objectives and performance metrics.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and technical support to distributors to drive sales effectiveness and market penetration.
- Identify opportunities to expand the business by appointing and developing new distributors in new or underdeveloped territories.
- Work closely with distributors to support them in achieving their individual sales targets, contributing to the overall regional sales objectives.
- Collaborate with distributors to develop and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies for specific markets and/or market segments.
- Act as a technical resource for distributors and customers, supporting product positioning, demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights, and communicate them effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product management, application support, and service) to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical competence in scientific or analytical instruments.
- Prior experience or exposure to scientific equipment, instrumentation, or industrial automation solutions.
- Electrical or electronics background with practical experience in protocol implementation involving external devices.
- Hands-on knowledge or working experience with industrial communication protocols, including but not limited to:
- Serial communication (RS232 / RS485)
- RJ45 (Ethernet)
- Profibus
- HART
