Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager/Director in preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender submissions for various projects.
- Review supplier and contractor quotations to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Validate quantities and certify progress payments.
- Track variations, change orders, and claims throughout project execution.
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Interpret and understand general contract conditions and tender documentation.
- Prepare budget estimates for variation orders as required.
- Liaise with suppliers for product and service presentations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on documentation, billing, and project-related issues.
- Follow up with suppliers and contractors on invoices, payments, and quantity matters.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience in subcontractor environment is an advantage.
