Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities across all projects, including requesting quotations, performing price comparisons and negotiations, processing purchase orders, and managing related post-award documentation.
- Assist in the development of site budgets for newly awarded projects to ensure project expenditures remain within approved allocations.
- Obtain quotations and market pricing for all trades to update the pricing database, ensuring Requisition of Purchase Order (RPO) rates and future budget rates remain within acceptable limits.
- Secure additional quotations for comparison and verify exclusions in site quotations for RPOs to prevent future additional costs.
- Coordinate and compile updates on trade award status against the master programme in collaboration with site personnel.
- Conduct negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions prior to award.
- Obtain quotations for price data and chart updates.
- Develop statistical and data compilation records for completed projects.
- Record and monitor site expenses and budget adjustments, ensuring proper substantiation for excess costs.
- Draft general correspondence and maintain proper tracking of all reference communications.
- Collaborate and share information within the team to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
