Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all QEHS and ECM functions (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety), working closely with department heads to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, KPIs, and company policies.
- Identify, assess, and advise on workplace risks; recommend and implement measures to eliminate or control them.
- Manage and maintain documentation for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits of QEHS management systems.
- Deliver QEHS-related training to employees.
- Facilitate management review meetings.
- Update and communicate relevant legal and regulatory requirements to staff and stakeholders.
- Maintain and promote green initiatives for GGBS certification.
- Analyze accident data and implement improvement programs.
- Organize company-wide QEHS awareness and promotional activities.
- Plan and carry out cross inspections across project sites.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure all QEHS certifications remain valid (e.g., Bizsafe, GGBS, Registered Scaffold Contractor).
- Set annual safety targets aligned with group standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with project WSHOs to share site issues and standardize QEHS practices.
- Provide QEHS advisory support to project teams.
- Support the Business Development team during tender processes.
- Recommend relevant QEHS training, seminars, and forums for staff development.
- Liaise with authorities during site inspections when required.
- Assist in accident and incident investigations upon request.
- Maintain proper records using internal cloud systems (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.

- Must hold a valid MOM registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
