Duties & Responsibilities
- Support and maintain automated material handling systems and related software applications, including PLC and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Perform software programming and development using technologies such as PowerBuilder 7, C#, Visual Basic, C++, and C.
- Manage and support database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, and Transact-SQL.
- Handle web-related technologies and services such as Microsoft IIS Management, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and web services.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer support services.
- Provide IT infrastructure support, including Windows operating systems, hardware, and software maintenance.
- Deliver IT helpdesk support and provide both onsite and remote technical assistance.
- Travel overseas when required to support project implementation, testing, commissioning, and customer support activities.
- Carry out additional duties and projects as assigned.
Key Objectives
- Deliver technical IT and software project support, including system testing and commissioning.
- Provide ongoing software support to customers, including standby and on-call support when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software application support, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Control (MFC) systems.
- Strong knowledge of database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server, including database programming using PL/SQL and T‑SQL.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as C# and JavaScript, as well as Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server.
- Good understanding of IT networks, hardware, software systems, and databases.
- Able to work independently and support technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
