The Enterprise Strategy Consultant is a lead contributor and Design Authority within the Supply Chain Advisory team. This role is responsible for driving the functional and technical integrity of strategic transformations, bridging the gap between high-level business goals and operational reality. You will lead specific design workstreams, ensuring that E2E solution architectures are ambitious, scalable, and implementable.

The ideal candidate possesses deep functional and technical expertise in Retail Grocery and Hardlines, with a proven ability to manage complex 'blueprinting' phases. As a high-functioning individual contributor with an agentic mindset, you will take ownership of data, technical roadmaps, and architectural outcomes to pivot strategies autonomously when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Authority & Governance
    • Architectural Integrity: Serve as the Design Authority for the E2E solution, ensuring all workstreams align with best practices and the long-term technical roadmap.
    • Validation: Review and approve key design decisions (KDDs) to ensure they are sustainable, minimise technical debt, and leverage 'out-of-the-box' cognitive capabilities over custom design.
    • Strategic Guardrails: Protect the integrity of the solution throughout the project lifecycle, constructively challenging assumptions that deviate from the core architectural vision.
  • Blueprinting & Design
    • E2E Solution Ownership: Own the high-level design phase for customers, focusing on the intersection of business process and architecture optimisation.
    • Cognitive Transition: Lead the migration path from legacy environments to AI-driven cognitive platforms, ensuring seamless data flow across all applications.
    • Process Modeling: Map complex Grocery/Hardlines requirements to functional specifications that support automated, autonomous supply chain execution.
  • Workstream Leadership
    • Functional Execution: Lead the design and execution of specific project workstreams, ensuring technical alignment with the overarching engagement strategy.
    • Cross-Functional Sync: Collaborate with product, delivery, and industry leads to ensure that the proposed architecture is supported by current and future product releases.
  • Analytical Storytelling & Enablement
    • Data-Driven Narratives: Interpret complex data trends to justify architectural pivots or solution designs to customer stakeholders.
    • Solution Demonstrations: Design and deliver strategy-aligned demonstrations that connect E2E architecture to tangible business outcomes.
Key Skills
  • Functional & Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of Forecasting, Replenishment, and Allocation within Retail Grocery and Hardlines.
  • Category Management Proficiency: An intuitive grasp of macro/micro-space category management and assortment optimisation, and how these decisions impact E2E supply chain efficiency.
  • Strategic Architecture: Proven experience guiding customers through the transition from legacy systems to modern AI/ML architectures.
  • Agentic Problem Solving: A proactive approach to navigating complex transformations with minimal supervision; the ability to identify a technical bottleneck and present the architectural fix simultaneously.
  • Executive Communication: The ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear, value-based language for both C-level executives and 'on-the-floor' leadership.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 9–11 years in supply chain consulting, enterprise architecture, or related roles within the Grocery/Hardlines sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Depth: Strong process modeling skills and experience with high-scale retail solution deployments.
  • Mindset: Comfort acting as a Design Authority, including the ability to influence stakeholders and maintain architectural discipline under project pressure.
