We are seeking a commercially minded Corporate Counsel to support our growing EMEA business. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) (or equivalent), who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is confident advising on complex commercial transactions. Experience working on contracts across the Middle East is advantageous, but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of revenue-generating agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, and professional services contracts.
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support deal execution while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
- Provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice on commercial and contractual matters.
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear, effective contractual terms.
- Support and improve internal legal processes, templates, playbooks, and empowerment materials.
- Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Stay informed on relevant legal, regulatory, and industry developments across EMEA.
- Support broader Legal team projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
- Remote working with occasional office attendance required.
- Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction with 2–5 years’ PQE.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (technology/SaaS preferred).
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional work within EMEA; Middle East experience is a plus.
- Background in private practice and/or in-house legal teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk and business priorities.
- Confident communicator, able to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- Practical, solution-driven approach to legal challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, self-starting mindset.
- Collaborative team player.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Additional European languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian) are advantageous but not required.
